Do you ever wonder how some quilters get those quilts? And where do they find enough time? I experienced the same questions years ago and then, one day, I sat up straight and began to consider finding a quilting period. I thought it was okay, I thought about setting aside thirty minutes each night, therefore, I could only sew. He only sewed thirty minutes every day. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to stop sewing every time you improve on a task? Well, it's really difficult. I would just say ... "A few more minutes and I'm at an excellent stopping point". .. "I can not stop today I'm so close to being done". Obviously, thirty minutes a day did not work well for all those projects that would probably take more than thirty minutes to complete. Then, I thought it was fine, but I found myself getting a lot of small projects, it only took an hour to complete, accomplished and have free time on my hands. Once again, the fulfillment of completing the tasks was there, but occasionally I did not have another project considered enough to begin with. I decided to make a summary of the projects I needed to complete, with enough time to complete them. I put all of them in a clear plastic box, with the types I really wanted to do first on the top. THEREFORE, I WENT TO THE PAPERWORK AT THE FIRST CHANCE, IT SHOWED 2 HOURS TO COMPLETE IT. I would reserve 2 hours and I will concentrate on the project. I realized that sometimes it could last a little longer and I would update my list with the new time. If it took much less time, my estimates improved and improved. After a while, I realized that I was managing my time much better and my incomplete tasks were getting smaller and smaller. I started worrying that I was working on things you can do, like Quilts of illustrations. I started keeping a diary of suggestions, not only for sewing and quilting, but also for knitting, weaving, embroidery and also painting with watercolor. So, if you want to find a moment to quilt, just do what I did. Start with thirty minutes and see everything you can achieve. If it is not enough, modify the time to match the task. Get organized, keep a conceptual journal and continue smiling. Usually, you can look for a time to quilt.
